Storage Bins Atlanta, GA

July 29, 2009 at 7:17 pm (Blog) (, , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , )

My wife and I recently decided to take a road trip around the country. We figured we would be gone for about six months but we wanted to make sure our house full of belongings would remain fresh so we decided to purchase a storage bin to keep all of our favorite belongings in. We found a wonderful company online called Gateway Containers Inc The Company was easy to find and very professional. We asked the salesman about purchasing a storage bin and were told that a lot of people are actually doing the same thing as we were. Well that excited us very much so we decided to go ahead and purchase the storage bin. We got a great deal on the storage bin. We purchased a 40 X 8 feet wide steel container that held all of our belongings perfectly. We were told by the salesman that the storage bin we were purchasing was grade “a” which meant that it was guaranteed not to have nay holes or leaks. The storage bin itself was constructed of Corten steel which is known for its weathering capability. This was very important to me because we were going to be gone for so long and I wanted to make sure that our valuables were protected. The storage bin was fitted with four vents on the inside top of the bin this is to make sure that your valuables do not end up with mildew or anything. The company delivered the storage bin to our property and put it directly where we wanted it which pleased us immensely all we had to do was put down railroad ties. We put a railroad tie about every eight feet. We purchased the storage bin a few months ago and recently started packing it with our valuables. Honestly things could not have worked out better. I would recommend this idea to anyone out there who does long term traveling like we do. Please Call Gateway Containers for your storage bins

What are Conex Boxes?

April 2, 2009 at 7:25 am (Cargo Containers, Conex containers/ storage containers, Equipment storage, On-site storage, Shipping containers)

Conex is actually a word that unites two words together, container and express. Conex boxes have been relied on by government agencies, particularly the military, as well as businesses, corporations, small business owners, and individual consumers alike. The objective behind the creation of Conex boxes is to offer the consumer additional storage space at a convenient cost to the consumer.

Conex boxes have been used for international shipping, but portable storage containers have many uses. Conex boxes are strong, hard-wearing, weather resistant, and long lasting, making such portable storage containers convenient for myriad uses. Conex boxes are large enough to produce storage for businesses that lack the indispensable warehouse space to storage items, and/or products, or additional business related inventory. Construction sites also use portable storage containers in order to create on-site offices which can later be expediently moved from one construction site to the next job site. The portable storage containers available on today’s market can be purchased outright, leased, or rented; thus, such boxes are made available to businesses and the general public with an array of financial choices to select from.

Decide whether to buyVS lease shipping containers

February 6, 2009 at 3:17 am (20ft containers, 40ft shipping containers, Cargo Containers, Conex containers/ storage containers, Job-site storage, On-site storage, Shipping containers, Steel Containers, Storage containers, Tool sheds)

Should you buy, lease or hire (rent) your cargo containers? That’s always a tricky question. The rule of thumb is that you should buy

if you expect to need your shipping containers, casrgo containers, storage containers, steel cargo containers,  for more than two years then yes you should buy.

1. You will pay less or equal when you pruchase one VS renting / leasing  with-in one years and you get the most used when you are done you dont  need them any more, what you can do is resale it  or you can turn in-to containers acuction and you can make some profits for your pocket.

Choose shipping containers by size

February 6, 2009 at 3:01 am (Conex containers/ storage containers)

What size shipping containers do you need? Although most are 8ft wide by 8.6ft tall by  20ft long or 8ft wide by 8.6ft all and 9.6ft tall by 40ft long (a standard for easy loading on truck, train or ship),

cargo containers come in varying lengths, up to about 53 feet long, and most are about 9ft high by 8.6ftwide .

How wide a door do you need in order to pass your cargo through it? Do you have cargo too tall to containerize, requiring one of the open-top containers?
